New Balance Unveils Global 'Grey Day' Campaign

Boston-based global sports brand New Balance unveiled the 'Grey Days' global campaign last month in May, focusing on New Balance's symbolic grey color. The grey color, which could otherwise seem mundane, remains synonymous with New Balance's enduring quality and distinctive style, extending the brand's legacy and paying homage to its iconic color. 

To commemorate the 'Grey Days' campaign, New Balance launched a collection throughout May, featuring exclusive products. The collection includes classic shoes like the 327, 574, and 550, as well as performance shoes and apparel, spanning new and existing grey styles across New Balance's lifestyle and performance lines. 

Additionally, on May 10, New Balance released a black-and-white short film titled 'Grey Days,' documenting the brand's history and long-standing association with the grey color, celebrating the impact of global sports shoe culture from sports to streetwear. The film features stars such as British rapper Santan Dave, skateboarder Andrew Reynolds, and NFL player Chase Young, showcasing the influence across sports and various entertainment intersections. Shot in 16mm black-and-white film, 'Grey Days' explores New Balance's running heritage and its popularity in style subcultures from California to Tokyo through the lens of long-time enthusiasts.
