LA SPORTIVA TX4 R Inspired by the Classic Climbing Shoe ‘MEGA’

LA SPORTIVA has launched the limited-edition approach shoe 'TX4R' in 2023, inspired by the classic climbing shoe 'MEGA' (released in 1986). 'MEGA' was a masterpiece developed with the help of top mountaineers such as Stefan Glowacz, Manolo, and Heinz Mariacher. This shoe left a strong impression with its vivid colors and bold design, which were representative of 1980s climbing culture. 

Limited Edition TX4R: A Perfect Fusion of Retro Aesthetics and Modern Technology 
The TX4R isn't just a simple recreation of a classic; it's been enhanced with the latest technology to create a more advanced approach shoe. One of the most notable features is the use of LA SPORTIVA’s old logo from 1986, which adds a nostalgic, classic touch. Additionally, the "CLIMBING ON THE MOON" patch, which adorned the catalog cover at the time, has been applied to the shoe, emphasizing its uniqueness.

The TX4R uses Vibram's MEGA GRIP compound, offering excellent grip and wear resistance. It also incorporates an Impact Brake System, providing stable wear even on rugged terrain while effectively protecting the feet. For added comfort, the MYTHOS lacing system and asymmetrical roll-type tongue from LA SPORTIVA ensure foot stability and comfort. The EVA compression midsole supports responsive walking even on soft ground.
