Helinox to Host ‘Thunderbolt Project by Fragment & Pokémon Seoul’

Global outdoor gear brand Helinox will present a special project for the first time in Korea from September 6. The project, named ‘THUNDERBOLT PROJECT BY FRGMT & POKÉMON SEOUL,’ is a collaboration between Pokémon and Fragment Design and will provide a unique offline experience at Mondrian Seoul Itaewon in Korea. 

The Collaboration Between Pokémon and Fragment Design 
The Thunderbolt Project is a collaboration born between Pokémon and Fragment Design, led by Japanese designer Fujiwara Hiroshi. 

An Immersive Experience in the Pokémon World 
This project will be held at Mondrian Hotel in Itaewon, Seoul, where an entire floor will be themed around Pokémon. Not only the guest rooms but the entire hotel space will transform into the world of Pokémon, offering an immersive experience as if inside the game. Guests will also receive specially made amenities for this project, including Pokémon plush toys and in-game items such as ‘Fresh Water,’ ‘Soda Pop,’ and ‘Rare Candy,’ adding to the fun. 

Limited Edition Goods and Helinox Products 
This project will also operate a special store, accessible only to guests, where various limited-edition goods will be sold. Helinox's chairs, tables, gym bags, and sacoches will be available as limited editions for the project, and a set of chairs and tables with black fur covers is attracting a lot of attention. In addition, a wide range of products featuring Pokémon characters such as Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, and Snorlax combined with Fragment Design's identity will be on sale. Pokémon plush toys, keyrings, T-shirts, hoodies, caps, and more will be part of the diverse product collection, expected to draw significant interest from Pokémon fans. 

Room Reservation and Operation Information 
Room reservations for this Thunderbolt Project will be made on a first-come, first-served basis through the official Helinox online store starting at 11 AM on August 22. The rooms will be available from September 6 to October 28, with guests able to choose between king or twin room types. The room rate is 575,000 KRW per night.
